I am broadly interested in the phenomenon of evolution. In Dieter’s lab, through experimental evolution, I explore how bacterial cells adapt their genomes to learn how to use artificial amino acids instead of natural amino acids as food, or to evolve resistance to drugs. I work hard so that one day I can  have my lab to explore how cells acquire and loose antibiotic resistance in real time and with a power of whole-genome sequencing.
